I, Guido Fawkes, bid you welcome to the inn that bears my name, standing proudly upon the very ground where I drew my first breath. Here, in the shadowed heart of ancient York, you are invited to dine where history lingers in every timber and candlelit corner.
The air is thick with stories, and the spirit of the season is alive in every detail of our Christmas Day offering. Our chefs — masters of both tradition and invention — have conjured a menu that honours the old ways, while daring to add something new. Expect roasted turkey with all its glorious trimmings, joined by seasonal dishes woven from the finest local fare.
Each plate is crafted with the care of an artisan and the precision of a plotter — designed not merely to satisfy, but to leave an impression long after the last bite.

Terms and conditions
Christmas Day bookings are to be secured with a £20 deposit per person.
Full pre-payment is to be taken by Monday 17th November 2025. All payments are non-refundable.
All diners are to pre-order their menu choices prior to the event.
